Introduction

Welcome to Ek Mota Hathi – Elephant Game (the "Application" or "Game"), a toddler-friendly 2D game built with Flutter and Flame. We value the privacy of our young players and their parents or guardians. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information inside our app, explaining our commitment to providing a safe, stress-free, and child-safe gaming experience.

By installing and using the Game, you agree to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

You do not need to register, create an account, or log in to play the Game. We do not gather or store sensitive individual details such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, precise geolocation, or physical addresses.

🎤 Microphone & Voice Processing Transparency:
The Game requests the Record Audio permission to power its speech-to-text interactive feature (allowing children to speak commands to their elephant friends).
  • All voice recognition is handled on-device using the operating system's built-in speech recognition framework.
  • We do not record, save, or transmit voice recordings, audio clips, or generated text transcripts to any external servers.
  • Intent recognition (e.g. reacting to words like "Namaste", "Banana", or "Hi") is processed locally on the device via our offline rules.

Device Permissions Used

To run successfully on Android and other target platforms, the Game utilizes the following system-level permissions:

  • RECORD_AUDIO / Microphone Permission: Used solely to support the interactive speech-to-text gameplay mechanic.
  • INTERNET: Required to retrieve ad configurations and load advertisements from Google Mobile Ads.

Advertising & Third-Party SDKs

We serve advertisements inside the Game using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to keep the Game free-to-play. We are fully committed to protecting our young users' privacy.

Because our target audience includes children under the age of 13, we comply strictly with COPPA regulations and Google Play's Families Policies:

  • Child-Directed Treatment: We programmatically tag all ad requests as child-directed using Google's tagForChildDirectedTreatment configuration.
  • Non-Personalized Ads Only: Google AdMob is instructed to serve non-personalized, family-appropriate ads. This prevents behavioral tracking and interest-based ad profiles for children playing our game.
  • Strict Ad Content Filters: We set digital content filters to ensure ads loaded belong only to child-appropriate rating tiers (G, PG).
Third-Party Privacy: Google Mobile Ads may collect temporary device identifiers (like IP addresses, advertising IDs, or basic network metadata) for ad frequency capping, fraud prevention, and basic ad delivery metrics. You can read their privacy practices here: Google Privacy Policy.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

The Game operates in full compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect, request, or retain personal data from children under the age of 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have accidentally collected personal data from your child, please contact us immediately, and we will take prompt action to delete such records from our logs (if any exist).

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any updates directly on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of the policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our privacy commitments.
